What we collect
- When you send an enquiry (website form, email, phone, WhatsApp, Checkatrade): your name, phone number, email, postcode or address, details of your project, and any photos or plans you choose to send.
- When we work for you: the information needed to quote, plan, carry out and invoice the work, including the property address and access arrangements.
- When you visit our website: we count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you. We also count taps on our phone and WhatsApp buttons and form submissions, recording only the page and the type of tap, with no IP address or identifier.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
Only the people and services we need to do the job: our subcontractors working on your project, our accountants, and the services that run our business — Cloudflare (website hosting, form storage, spam checks and visit counts), Resend (delivering form emails), Google Workspace (email), WhatsApp, and Checkatrade if you contacted us there. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Website enquiries and enquiries that don't go ahead: up to 2 years, then deleted.
- Client and job records: 6 years after the end of the job (tax and contract records).
- Photos of our work: we may keep and, only with your permission, publish photos of the finished work. We never publish your name or address.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. Email hello@w10builders.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
Cookies
Our website does not set cookies for analytics or advertising. The spam check on our forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) may use strictly necessary storage to tell people from bots.
